Meal Prep & Chill with Hello Fresh
Meal prepping is one trend I’ll be forever grateful for. Although we primarily work from home, babe and I are always on the go. It’s a great feeling not having to stop in the middle of the day to start thinking about what to eat when I’m absolutely hungry because that’s when I end up eating any and everything.
I’m definitely not a chef. I don’t enjoy spending my afternoons and evenings in the kitchen trying to whisk up whole meals. And although I love a good Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich just as much as the next human, these days I’m all about saving my money and living a healthier lifestyle. By meal prepping with Hello Fresh, I’m able to do both.
What is meal prepping?
Meal prepping is exactly what it sounds like. It’s setting aside some time each week to plan and prepare some dishes in advance to eat. What I love about Hello Fresh is that it cuts out the planning time I would have used trying to research recipes and meals for a specific diet plan. All the options for my week are literally right at my fingertips on the Hello Fresh phone app.

Tips and Tricks
If you’re a beginner to all this meal prepping mumbo jumbo, try out Hello Fresh. At least that way you won’t have to go grocery shopping for all the ingredients to cover all the food for the week. They’ll just ship it straight to your door. You’ll also have the option of choosing how much food you want delivered a week. Saving supermarket money, gas money, your time, and energy. It’s honestly a life hack.
Keep in mind, if you are meal prepping, you’ll need containers for storing your meals so that they’re ready to grab and heat up when needed. I prefer sealable glass containers that won’t leak, and will keep my food fresh. All I need to really have is butter, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Hello Fresh sends all the seasoning, vegetables, protein, and grains needed for each meal.
For now, I’m sticking to meal preps. You can too, if you’d like.
