Raising the Rooftop Bars in Savannah, GA.

With spring in full swing it was time to finally defrost from the winter chills. Savannah, Georgia is a lovely old city rich in history, food, and southern beauty… it also looks pretty neat from a bird’s eye view, and with a drink in hand! Other than exploring all the city squares, and taking in the illuminating beauty of the city, one of my favorite things to do is visit Savannah’s rooftop bars.

Here are a couple of spots I’d recommend.

Peregrin at Perry Lane Hotel

If you’re looking for a rooftop bar that’s aesthetically pleasing, has lovely city views, and a breezy-modern atmosphere, the Peregrin is a great place to visit. It’s a little pricey, but drinks are beautiful and pair well with the warm sunny weather in Savannah. Be sure to ask for the Frose.

Churchill

Churchill Bar is definitely a spot for the locals where the waiters know them by name. Found in the heart of Savannah, Churchill is a snug, rustic terrace bar with refreshing seasonal cocktails, and food inspired by British dish palettes. If you’re looking for a place with a view, this isn’t it, but if you want a cozy, intimate open-terrace bar, head to Churchill.

Top Deck at the Cotton Sail Hotel

Overlooking the iconic Savannah River is the Top Deck Bar. Top Deck bar is a bit more casual and fun to chill on. Taking in the sunset and enjoying a glass of Aperol Spritz really had me counting my blessings. The Top Deck has a good selection of food and drinks to choose from. Definitely worthy of checking out if you’re ever walking along the river.
