Bae-cations in Jamaica Rose Hall Suites
Ventured down to Montego Bay, Jamaica with babe and stayed at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. It has been a long cold winter in Atlanta and I was grateful to be given the opportunity to go back to Jamaica and defrost for the weekend.
We had such a grand time. Our room overlooked the garden with lush views of the beach. The salt water felt so good and warm and the swim-up bar was a plus for the experience.
There are also many dining options which include a steakhouse, buffet, Greek Tavern, and Jamaican restaurant. The breakfast was always perfect. I couldn’t get enough Sour Sop juice and Ackee with Saltfish! Don’t even get me started on all the bars around the hotel. I had the best Shirley Temples and Rum Punch. Babe enjoyed drinking a bit more clean and enjoyed tequila drinks.
We also took a drive into the town and spent some time with family and loved ones. As relaxing and entertaining as the Iberostar Selection Hotel was, it was nice to cruise off-site for a bit and dive into the actual rich culture and fruitful atmosphere that really is Jamaica. Eating food from locals and picking cherries in Granville always feels like home to me.
Iberostar is definitely one of my favorite spots here in Jamaica. It’s great to get out of the states every now and then and enjoy the warmth, food, beauty, and rich culture that Jamaica has to offer.
