The Benefits of African Black Soap

Many people swear on black soap. Many people consider black soap to be the holy grail of all holy grails. Well, my name is Shanae and I’m definitely a part of that many people category. African Black Soap is known to be beneficial for skin types ranging from dry to oily to combination. It’s a must have for glowing radiant skin and great amongst family homes due to its health benefits that help people of all different skin types.

I’ve been purposely using African Black Soap for about 5 years now. I really do love it. It soothes my eczema and helps me to maintain vibrant, supple, and clear skin. Without a doubt black soap is a part of my every day skin care routine: Leaving my skin smooth and GLOWING. haha, listen up Glow Gang, I’m all about the glow. Glowing skin. Glowing up. Glow sticks… lol let’s keep moving… here it is

  • Reduces Eczema Flare Ups

-Eczema where?! Due to some of its rich ingredients such as shea butter, palm oil, and coconut oil, black soap helps to alleviate my eczema flare-ups and keeps my skin sensations at bay. Penetrating my skin with the moisture and natural ingredients it needs it to feel significantly less itchy, and highly hydrated. Irritated, itchy, and inflamed no longer! I’m no skincare specialist. I’m just a woman in love with the skin she’s in. Tell me in the comments what you use to soothe your eczema flare ups.

  • Diminishes Appearance of Skin Blemishes, Stretch Marks, and Scars

-Shea Butter, being such a dominant ingredient in the creation of black soap, is amazing for ridding the body from unwanted scars and blemishes. This is due to shea butter’s ability to produce collagen which aids in skin tissue recovery. I used to have terrible razor bump scars from days long ago when I thought I was grown enough and needed to either shave or die according to the gossips and whispers that would swell the cafeteria room walls during 6th grade lunch time. You can only imagine how relieved I was when my mother introduced me to African Black Soap and I saw that both its antibacterial and anti inflammatory qualities worked. Discoloration had met its doom.

-High school! OMG. I was beyond grateful, because the black soap not only kept my eczema calm, but it kept me looking ‘Dumpling Skinned’, naturally. Using the black soap cleared my face from old acne and eczema scars. #porcelainchocolate

-Let me know how you all feel about stretch marks. I do feel like a woman’s body goes through so many natural changes. I personally feel like my body looks so different every year. Women should embrace their bodies: stretch marks, beauty marks, bare skin and all. I do however believe and prefer on my own self to have a diminished looking set of tiger stripes while I have that opportunity. Black soap, being rich in Vitamin E, aids with that quite nicely.

  • Fights Against Acne and Breakouts

-With an abundant amount of Vitamins A and E, black soap is a great agent to use for fighting that annoying war against acne, blackheads, and breakouts. Having anti fungal and anti bacterial agents, these vitamins work to clear acne and balance the pH levels of the skin. Leaving the skin naturally exfoliated and clean.

If you’re on the hunt for African Black Soap, just be careful to not fall for companies selling fake black soap products. There are many on the market and the benefits won’t be the same. Be sure to do your research. What types of soap do you use? I’m always on the hunt for great quality skin care products. Keep in mind that black soap comes in bar form and liquid, so you’ll have options to suit your soapy preferences. If you have a dermatologist, be sure to check in with your dermatologist before switching soaps.

The list could go on and on as to why African Black Soap is on my list of must have skin care products. Many things may go out of style in life, but glowing skin will always be in.

love always,

Shanae
